Day 11 Catch up day at David and Kaye's
Maritta, Kaye
and Noeline went shopping (again!) whilst David Alan and Dale did some serious car fettling. The
shopping culminated with Maritta and Noeline getting their nails and other
parts "fettled" (by a very friendly beautician in Tesco's).
After this they
returned home and Maritta spent some time photographing the birds and squirrels
playing in the backyard.

Meanwhile
the male half of the team fitted a power outlet to the Speed 20 (for the
GPS)
and got the door lock to work. They also fixed a very small oil leak in
the 12/60 (and
naturally Alan polished it and the Firefly) and gave the 12/60 a general
check over. Alan also
swapped over a couple of tyres for the Firefly.
The rest of the day was
spent
packing, organizing spare parts and determining the most efficient
luggage positions in readiness for our departure to Scotland in the
morning.
